Sense Sonnet - Steamer

Crony Up

True core capitalism is
Free exchange with no government.
Where and when has been such free biz?
The U.S. old wild west - hint, hint.
When settlors first came to homestead,
There was no law to help the weak.
The power was the gun, and led
The mighty to control the meek.
The law did come, though slow but sure.
Legends made like Hickok and Earp.
Government grew and did endure
To rule, so free did not usurp.

In the U.S., better or worse,
There is no longer free commerce.
