Sense Sonnet - Steamer

Minding Manners

U.S. at war - there's etiquette.
Must show proper manners post kill.
Peeing on a corpse does upset,
Just leave the body dead and still.
The public that sent you to war
Has no real sense what war's about,
Not really sure what you're there for,
But while there, act like a boy scout.
It's no more like the wars of old,
When soldiers did not piss and tell.
Now most all secrets do unfold -
Uneasy jabs that war is hell.

We sent you but where's all the fuss,
You are getting pissed on by us.
