Once upon a time, the U.S.
Slashed spending like never before.
Done by the Prez and the Congress,
Hopped up on a drug to the core.
This drug was sprayed over D.C.
By super hero, Slasher Skunk,
Causing politicians to be
In an unnatural cut funk.
Trillions got slashed this way and that.
Everybody felt the pain
Of losing layers of cash fat.
The country began to get sane.

But Slasher Skunk knew that one day
D.C. would need another spray.
