No Child Put Ahead

Teacher tenure in public schools
Has let lousy teaching prevail.
At all the levels, the adult fools
Have messed with kids on a vast scale.
There are bunches who are to blame
For making kids the last concern.
The kids are losing - that's the shame.
Adults fiddle while young minds burn.
Taking tenure away would just
Be until the powers that be
Found ways to snooker public trust
Making more incompetency.

The public school kids pay the price,
Experimented on like lab mice.
