The Bag Lady

Queen Elizabeth, bless her heart,
Is feeling the pinch of the pence.
Quite frugal, she's doing her part.
Other royal ladies and gents
Are spending the monarchy broke.
Bean counters are forcing the Queen
To budget her buyness - no joke!
For all the world to know - obscene!
The common folk come up to her
And offer funding for her bag.
Mortified for this to occur.
The Queen can only smile zig zag.

Always in public with her purse,
Sometimes in private, she does curse.
