A lowly congressional aide
Stuck a rider into a bill,
And into law it was then made,
Since powers that be on the Hill
Rarely read bills before they pass.
This new law said that ev'ry day
Congress in session did amass,
Stupidity meters would weigh
The mountains of stupid that piled.
Alarms signal when it was time.
Through the Capitol police filed.
Congress is charged with its own crime.

Congress is under house arrest,
Where too much stupid is possessed.
