Sense Sonnet - Steamer

Flat Tax

The estate tax sounds so, so rich,
To be applied to millionaires.
But gov has got the taxing itch,
And will leave dry all future heirs.
All property left by the dead,
Big gov will right away take hold,
Leaving one broke on one's deathbed,
Before the body's even cold.
Surviving spouse and children will
All be put on the public dole,
For rest of life's needs to fulfill.
Full dependence is big gov's goal.

Death and taxes, the two sure things.
Die, then pay up taxes death brings.
