Sense Sonnet - Tickler

Cast for the Part

Candidates of the left or right
Must first and foremost have the look
That will turn on at just the sight.
Beneath the dazzle is the hook
To snag the voter, then begin
To reel the voter to the booth,
Through the waters filling with sin
Charged of the candidate - forsooth.
The voter may begin to squirm.
The candidate can play the line,
Coax the voter to blame the worm.
Winning candidates can fish fine.

Either party most probably
Would find Abe Lincoln too ugly.
