When Crocs Ruled

In his article, "When Crocs Ruled,"
Mel White discusses Donna's case;
The male snaggletoothed croc who schooled
At U. of Miami in space
Filled with creatures of human kind,
Who were outraged when Donna died
At human hand with human mind.
Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde -
We humans have evolved into;
Making choices that self conflict.
We're the only creatures that do.
The crocs have instincts that predict.

While we humans make waste and war.
The crocs just wait to rule once more.
