Sense Sonnet - Acher

To Come

It is in the early pre-dawn
At Dover on the eastern shore.
The caskets of soldiers now gone
Arrive to bear the price of war.
Families of the fallen stand
And watch their loved ones carried from
The plane that they had just watched land.
One father, by coptor has come,
Surrounded by security.
But he shares the same purpose there
As all the other family
Having to face a loss to bear.

The President does share the price
Of his daughter's served sacrifice.
