Fail Tale

When I got home, I told my folks
Some guy had tried to kidnap me.
He had pulled up and tried to coax
Me into his car. Suddenly,
He grabbed me, but I got away,
Leaving my book bag in his hand.
I was real scared, but now okay.
All he got was some school stuff, and
That loss isn't any harm.
The folks wanted to call the cops.
I 'fessed up to stop their alarm.
They yelled they'd like to bust my chops.

All a lie - asked why I would.
'Cause my report card was not good.
