Unfit

A child welfare employee came
And took my child away from me.
He told me that I was to blame,
And that my child needed to be
Taken away for safety's sake.
I'm a single parent and I
Have always tried real hard to make
A good, safe home. It was a lie
That somehow I'd become unfit
Just because of how I might look
To some nosy government twit,
Who stressed me when my child he took.

It isn't right some bureaucrat
Can take my child 'cause I am fat.
