Please Help Us, World

We are babies born on the Earth,
Part of the human family,
But deemed to be of little worth
By others who happen to be
Living in better circumstance,
Where malaria does not thrive;
And where there is the quite good chance
That babies born will stay alive.
We only wish the world would share
Resources cheap in relation
To the benefits, and would care
To join in human salvation.

There's no reason we have to die.
All we can ask the world is - why?
