Sense Sonnet - Acher

Ground In

Coal mining grief is never done.
The mountain mined is never still.
In the blood from father to son,
To empty out the mountain's fill.
For days now, miners have been trapped
Deep within the bowels of the earth.
As time passes, the hope is sapped,
But, rescuers give all they're worth
To save their own. The news came
That there was another cave in.
Rescuers died. There was no blame,
Just more grief for lost kith and kin.

Coal mining grief is never done.
The mountain moved and claimed my son.
