Sense Sonnet - Steamer

 Spilled Salt

Hubby cheats on me, so of course

I told him at dinner tonight

That I would sue him for divorce.

He just laughed at me, so not right,

And full of anger I was filled

At him, the salt shaker I shook.

On the table some salt was spilled.

So a handful of salt I took,

Threw it over my shoulder, cuz

I'm superstitious, some salt struck

Hubby's eyes, and hurt as salt does.

He died of heart attack, bad luck.

I really can't be held to fault,

Accidently spilling some salt.
