The Declaration signed by bold,

That Independence be divine.

Ben was one of five who helped write

Declaring of Independence,

Knowing full well there'd be a fight

From the British with consequence.

1776 on

The Fourth of July be the day,

Putting his signature upon,

Words of advice, Ben had to say.

Hanging together, they need be,

Or they'd surely hang separately.
