The wife got very mad at me,

Gave her left hook right at my face.

A lot of pain and blood there be,

Front tooth of mine knocked out of place.

The wife was not at all concerned,

As off to the dentist I went.

The dentist, Japanese, I learned,

Art of kintsugi did present.

The wife would scoff at such a mend,

Using this to highlight what's broke.

But what a message it would send

Her, along with a last laugh stroke.

The wife does glare at me quite cold,

I sport my new front tooth of gold.
