Sense Sonnet - Pumper
One Dream Come True
A challenge to myself I make,
To a place I have never known.
A little worn pathway I take.
Nobody's around, I'm alone.
For several hours through the trees,
I walk under evergreens, tall.
Harder to climb, the more at ease
Choosing upon nature to call.
And then I leave the trees to walk,
With the harsh winds howling about,
As I climb over barren rock,
Soon to triumph, I have no doubt.
Upon the mountaintop I stand,
Clouds drift below me in dreamland.
