 Pillow Talk

It was quite the shock of my life

To hear, while I was on a trip,

An affair was had by my wife.

Was this gossip by a loose lip?

My wife first denied this of course,

When confronted by me on this.

But no reason to lie, this source,

Long privy to our wedded bliss.

She admitted cheating at last,

And wondered who had snitched on her.

Such infidelity has cast

A double shock on me for sure.

And why for me a double shock?

Who knew that my pillow could talk!
