Sense Sonnet - Tickler
Trots from Hots
Two stacks of pancakes, freshly fried,
Their misery wants comfort, so
Tell how great it was, as they lied
To the remaining pancake dough.
But the dough sees some eggs fry in
The skillet, and all the eggs yell
They were misled to their chagrin,
And this hot skillet hurts like hell.
Thus, the dough, now misgivings had,
"No," to the pancakes stacks does say,
Which of course makes the stacks quite mad,
As remaining dough runs away.
The pancake dough has faster legs,
Escapes the skillet of fried eggs.
