Sense Sonnet - Ticker

 I'm a Sharing Sort

The wife and I were walking to

A restaurant from the parking lot.

The wife asked me that please I do

Hold her arm through a slippery spot

Of ice that was in the walkway.

Wanting to be the gallant guy,

My arm through hers went on display,

And we walked on, suddenly I

Tripped, and my feet flew through the air.

I gave a screech out in alarm.

Of course my fall I had to share,

Pulling the wife down by her arm.

Tripping and falling gracefully,

The wife did so quite well, not me!
