 Cousins at Odds

The two royal cousins never met.

But Mary, Queen of Scots, did keep

Queen Elizabeth First upset,

Causing England's Queen to lose sleep.

Elizabeth feared Mary would

By trick or power take her throne.

Mary tried to make such threat good,

Claim England's Queendom as her own.

To kill Elizabeth, her plot,

But written details by her were

Intercepted, and she was caught,

Then tried and found guilty be her.

To prove Mary, Queen of Scots, was dead,

Queen Elizabeth was brought her head.
