Sense Sonnet - Acher
Innocent Intent
I saw her down there, plainly dead.
Something awful happened to her.
Her mouth was oozing bloody red.
I headed down, just to make sure.
A lovely lady she had been.
But now in death, she was pale white,
Victim of horrid crime and sin.
What happened to her, just not right.
And now upon her lips I be.
I hope she wouldn't think me wrong,
Meaning no offense, certainly,
And do not plan on staying long.
I wish not to further assault.
This butterfly seeks source of salt.
