Sense Sonnet - Pumper
Her Well Wishes for Her
Missus Hen bringing her eggs to
Farmer's back porch, and learns about
Farmer's daughter has summer flu.
So Missus hen leaves, going out
'Round the farm, sunflowers to pick,
And brings back to the farmhouse, she
Wants to give to the young girl, sick.
The daughter's boots on the porch be,
So in these boots, sunflowers go,
Placed by Missus Hen, one by one,
For a lovely bouquet to show,
Such a nice gesture being done.
Missus Hen's wish this morn in June,
Farmer's daughter to get well soon.
