 Aesop Tale Twist

Fable of grasshopper and ants,

Grasshopper just played and no work,

So the ants told him to go dance,

Driving grasshopper off berserk.

Facing harsh winter with no food,

So crazy grasshopper took knife

To part of him that did protrude,

Removing it to change his life.

Then returning to the ants so

To prove good dancer he was not.

The ants aghast at such a show,

Gave the grasshopper food he sought.

All the ants took pity on him,

Grasshopper now with peg leg limb.
