Sense Sonnet - Pumper
Cause Swans to Sing
A gentle breeze blows from the west,
As I walk through the park, and see
Swans in the pond come from their nest.
I recall Greek mythology,
Zephyrus, the gentle west wind,
Was for all swans a coming who
Feelings of happiness would bring,
And together the swans would do
Welcoming Zephyrus in song.
Then with the swans this gentle breeze
O'er the waters would join along,
Resulting harmony to please.
Thus, with gentle zephyr blowing,
I pause and listen as swans sing.
