 My Hope for 2024

2023 said goodbye.

2024 says hello.

Another year older am I.

Another year wiser, hope so.

I know what's wrong, I know what's right.

I'm blessed with friends and family,

And hope they all know, day and night,

Loving help they will get from me.

And strangers met, I'll try to share

With each something useful and good.

And let each know I truly care,

Living each day well as I could.

When 2024 is done

I hope I've been a worthy one.
