 Christmas Present

A Christmas present is what I'm

Given and received, one to one,

Happening over Christmas time,

Meant to be lots of joy and fun.

Oft in very festive wrapped box

With bright colored ribbon and bow,

Waiting till opening time clocks,

Under the Christmas tree to show.

I may be big, I may be small.

Sometimes some eager fingers do

Shake me to try to guess what all

Secrets I hold inside me, true.
