 Joined the Band

Midday as I took my catnap

In the alley, I was woke up

By the loud sounds of beat and rap,

Down Main Street a marching band, yup.

Out of the alley I did come

To watch and hear this band so fine.

The blare and pound of horn and drum.

Precision impressed this feline.

So then and there in act unplanned,

I decided to show my how

As I joined in the marching band.

For me it was this cat's meow.

In the band I did represent

As a "purr"cussion instrument.
