Sense Sonnet - Pumper

 Nature Calls

This chihuahua has biz to do,

So out the doggie door I go,

And right away go thump into

A mass of white. Can it be snow?

But it's July and then I see

It's not snowflakes but butterflies,

A swarm of all white around me.

Totally this is a surprise.

I walk in a careful waddle,

Not wanting to alienate,

No usual barking twaddle,

Polite ball of fur incarnate.

Then off the butterflies do fly.

I give some yaps and kicks goodbye.
