 The Green Light

The green light has been said to be

A symbol of a wealth desired,

Valuable materially,

And dreamed often to be required.

The American dream some say,

But really is worldwide in scope.

From ancient times until today,

All kinds of humankind's have hope

That more the money, more the chance

Of buying happiness for sure.

I always look for circumstance

Of shining green light to occur.

For many, the green light does shine,

But so far cannot claim as mine.
