 My Poetic Landscaping

The poems that I do create,

I feel should be shared with those who

Find themselves a prison inmate.

My poetry should help them do

Some reflection on what they've done,

A kind of spiritual escape.

So once a month I be the one

To provide poetic landscape.

The warden has requirement that

With me prisoners do their time

In this confinement habitat

And pay attention to my rhyme.

My poetry I do dispense,

I have a captive audience.
