 Tychicus

Paul sent Tychicus to Cyprus to

Assist in spreading the Lord's word.

Paul told Tychicus that he knew

He'd do well. Then Tychicus heard

Of beheading of Paul in Rome.

Tychicus was sad but did vow

To stay in Cyprus as his home,

And build upon Paul's work somehow.

Tychicus did stay and spread

The gospel to this island all,

And lived life of Christ until dead,

Being reunited with Paul.

Bishop of Cyprus to life's end,

Tychicus proved a worthy friend.
