The Purple People Eater came

From outer space back down to Earth,

This time at Christmas with the aim

Of getting a vacation's worth

Of eating purple people who

Were naughty ones on Santa's list.

First thing the alien did do

Was dance to rock and roll he'd missed.

Of course he danced to Christmas tune,

Hung jingle bells from his one horn,

Hoping naughty purple folks soon

Be under tree on Christmas morn.

The Purple People Eater, gee,

Did trim a purple Christmas tree!
