 Cassandra

Cassandra, a princess of Troy,

Had divine gift of prophecy.

In the future she saw no joy.

The Greeks would come in victory.

But when Cassandra tried to warn

Her royal family of this threat.

They with all the Trojans did scorn

Her as a foolish girl beset

With attempting to put on airs

Of being better since she had

Chased God Apollo in affairs.

Troy in defeat - she must be mad!

Cassandra was correct of course,

Greeks attacked from the Trojan Horse.
