 Lie of Kind

Wifey asks Hubby, "How's the cat?"

Hubby replies, "The cat is dead."

Upset, Wifey tells Hubby that,

"A white lie here you should have said."

"Now I won't enjoy vacation."

"This tragic news will burden me."

"You could have said the cat had run"

"Up on the roof and there does be."

"Telling a white lie though not true"

"Sometimes is needed to be kind."

"And kindness I expect from you."

"Tell a white lie and I won't mind."

Wifey then asks Hubby, "How's Mom?"

"She's up on the roof, but stay calm."
