 War of Ages

The old do send the young to fight

The wars the old think should be fought,

Always of course in name of right

Whether the war be right or not.

And in the war the young do die,

Never to know who lost or won.

Fighting for the old's cause is why

Sacrifice of young must be done.

The young who happen to survive

Grow old themselves until once more

The go to death does come alive,

And old send young again to war.

The vicious cycle of war be

Young future of old history.
