Couple, Talini and Siku,

Once again are in wait and see,

Here at home in Lincoln Park Zoo,

If polar bear cubs come to be.

Talini does her denning that

For several months she'll be away,

Not in the outside habitat.

Siku is on his own to play.

They've both been through this wait before,

Time that Siku's outside alone,

Apart from Talini indoor.

Each of them coping on their own.

Maybe this year the two can add

To their connection - Mom and Dad.
