I'm a festive thinking chimp who

Wants to get in on Halloween

Here at home in Lincoln Park Zoo.

I find a pumpkin on the scene.

So I decide that I will make

A scary Jack-O-Lantern that

Will display for Halloween sake

To festive up my habitat.

The only tools I've got to use

Are my sharp teeth and fingernails,

So that pumpkin does get some chews

And scratchings for the face details.

When I am done the pumpkin will

Be scary Jack, thanks to my skill.
