 Woked Buttercup - LP Zoo

Buttercup, the Canada lynx,

Here at home in Lincoln Park Zoo,

Now wide awake from forty winks,

Watches intently for what's new.

She heard the keeper calling her

While in the midst of her catnap.

This gets her attention for sure.

Back to full alert she does snap.

She sees the keeper coming - yup,

Holding a small gadget in hand,

Pointing it at her real close up.

No food here as Buttercup planned.

A wasted wake up otherwise,

Annoyance in Buttercup's eyes.
