Watch and Wait - LP Zoo

We lionesses see, we do,
Repairing by the humans that
Make walking at Lincoln Park Zoo
No go by our habitat.
The dust and noise fly through the air,
As jackhammers dig out the old
To put new concrete/brick in there,
So human feet will be consoled.
The human workers move so slow.
Who knows when this job will be done.
We have no other place to go,
But watching hard hats can be fun.

We gals are used to the rare quirk,
If and when truly "men at work."
