Jane Addams was a pioneer,
The "mother" of social work known
As being one to persevere
To bringing peace to the world zone.
From Chicago, her home, she made
Hull House a place for settlement,
Where women and children got aid
To better their environment.
For social justice and world peace,
She mothered a reforming tide,
And her efforts did never cease,
Continuing on when she died.

Dreamer, compassionate and wise,
Receiving the Nobel Peace Prize.
