Sense Sonnet - Steamer

The Click of a Bat

A fruit bat, I was hanging out
Napping, just minding my own biz,
A pest grabbed me, human no doubt.
In a dark room I find I is.
My mouth was sealed, my tongue was numb.
I was let loose to fly around.
I tried real hard to just play dumb.
Varied obstacles did abound.
I guess the humans wanted to
Know if I could, cuz my wings clicked,
Echolocate to where I flew.
The humans were awed. I was ticked.

The worst, this bat is here to tell,
A batty human out of hell.
