Crowned lemurs from Madagascar
Come to America to be
Ambassadors for us afar
To try to save our specie
From loss of home and habitat.
We are a primate seeking to
Better the life where we are at.
We need human help to so do.
As Mom and Dad we're thankful for
The family we're blessed to share
With humans who visit galore,
And give much for our welfare.

We lemurs have Thanksgiving too,
Being here at Lincoln Park Zoo.
