Gadhimai

The Hindu goddess, Gadhimai,
Gets an animal sacrifice.
Humans were her first choice, so why
Should just farm animals suffice?
Ev'ry five years for good luck for
A time and place where good luck's not,
Humans kill animals galore,
No improving the human lot.
Since humans kill humans for less,
Why not do what the goddess bid?
A five year bloody human mess,
All the dead's bad luck would be rid.

The goddess wants a human kill,
So c'mon humans let'em spill.
