We debate the death penalty -
Cruel, unusual punishment?
Being human - some errors be.
With safeguards, loads of cash is spent.
Hopefully, science can so solve
How to put killers on ice, cuz
Killing continues to evolve.
Killing will be as always was.
But humans of the science kind
Can find the way that's 'twixt and 'tween
Life and death - body, soul and mind,
Cheap and easy and not too mean.

Freeze the baddies, and when real doubt,
Pull out of fridge and thaw'em out.
