What is greatness in time and place?
Greatness in past times was for will
To conquering the human race,
Sometimes by luck, sometimes by skill.
Alexander the Great got great
By such conquering and then got
Great coverage by history,
Something he prob'ly never sought.
Would Alexander be deemed great
Today for conquering so much?
More likely the pundits would rate
His sex conquests - who? when? how much?
