And went to Broadway with a dream
Of becoming star debutante,
Wowing on the theatre scene.
Hired a lot, but then quickly fired.
Producers did not deem her good.
A dashing of her hopes aspired,
She headed off to Hollywood,
To films as the "Queen of the Bs."
One film she dyed her hair bright red,
But so so show by biz degrees.
She went to young T.V. instead.

One of the most beloved of all.
