Hummus

Hummus is made of mashed chickpeas,
A Middle East popular food.
Perhaps the tensions there might ease
If less mouths yapped and more mouths chewed.
Instead of fighting forth and back,
The peoples could hummus compete.
Put the arms down and let lips smack.
Let victors be the ones who eat
The most hummus in the time set.
If Israel wins, it stays as is.
If Israel loses, it must get
In state of going out of biz.

Let's get peace in the Middle East,
Brought about by a hummus feast.
