Sense Sonnet - Pumper

Adelor - LP Zoo

I am Adelor, ever here
At my beloved Lincoln Park Zoo,
Where I roared for many a year.
Hey Chicago - that's what I do.
A lion hits his teenage days,
It's time to turn his body in,
And leave memories of his ways,
The presence gone of past he'd been.
But humans make a body stay.
A life size me is back and set,
To greet the humans ev'ry day,
And ever give the chance to pet.

Sculpted bronze, I am Adelor.
Touch my spirit and hear me roar.
